Something Soapy was started by April Dahlstrom, From a young age April and her family were plagued with allergies and skin irritations, Her Father a chemist gave her the knowledge to create a product that not only was all natural and didnt cause the drying out or irritations of the skin that most commercially produced soap produced.
As her family grew she didnt need to make as many bars, as a batch would last them a good while with the soap being longlasting.
After a family tragedy April decided she needed to throw herself back into something she loved, SOAPING! she started to give to family and friends, with many making suggestions of other essential oil mixes or soaps to combat things like foot odour, gardening hands,pet odours and even PMT relief!
And the rest....is history, Something Soapy in Donnybrook are in their 3rd year of business this year and are looking forward to a prosperous new year!
